Canada-China match to be broadcast on Rogers Sportsnet

The Canadian Soccer Association has announced that the 30 September Canada-China home match will be broadcast live on Rogers Sportsnet. This means that fans across the country can watch all three Canadian home matches on Rogers Sportsnet in the month of September. The Canada-China Women’s International Friendly match, presented by Winners, will be broadcast on Rogers Sportsnet East and Rogers Sportsnet Ontario at 19.30 ET / 16.30 PT.


The Canadian Soccer Association has announced that the 30 September Canada-China home match will be broadcast live on Rogers Sportsnet. This means that fans across the country can watch all three Canadian home matches on Rogers Sportsnet in the month of September. The Canada-China Women’s International Friendly match, presented by Winners, will be broadcast on Rogers Sportsnet East and Rogers Sportsnet Ontario at 19.30 ET / 16.30 PT.



Also on Rogers Sportsnet in the month of September is the Canada-Peru Men’s International Friendly match presented by Sony on 4 September and the Canada-Honduras Men’s International Friendly match presented by BMO on 7 September. The 4 September match is broadcast on all four Rogers Sportsnet channels at 17.30 ET / 14.30 PT while the 7 September match is broadcast on all four Rogers Sportsnet channels at 19.30 ET / 16.30 ET.

The Canada-China Women’s International Friendly match will be broadcast live from Toronto’s BMO Field. This is the third year in a row that Rogers Sportsnet has broadcast Canada’s home Women’s International Friendly match from BMO Field.



Both Canada and China are preparing for next year’s FIFA Women’s World Cup Germany 2011. Canada, whose title sponsor is Winners and presenting sponsor is Teck, will take part in the CONCACAF Women’s World Cup Qualifier in late October and early November. China, meanwhile, has already qualified through the AFC (Asia).
