Pellerud Announces Roster For Trip To Morocco

Ottawa, Ontario – Canadian Women’s World Cup Team head coach Even Pellerud today released the roster for the upcoming friendlies against Morocco. The team travels to trip to Casablanca on February 3 and will return February 13.

Ottawa, Ontario – Canadian Women’s World Cup Team head coach Even Pellerud today released the roster for the upcoming friendlies against Morocco. The team travels to trip to Casablanca on February 3 and will return February 13.
Canada will play its first friendly of 2001 against the Moroccan national side on February 10 in Casablanca before facing the Moroccans in a second game on February 12. The games will mark the first time the two countries have faced each other. The Canadians will also play the Moroccan Under-17 boys team on February 7.
The 18-player squad consists of only two players who have yet to be capped in Janine Willis and Leah Robinson as well as veteran national team members Charmaine Hooper (68 caps) and Silvana Burtini (56 caps). The roster includes 17 players who were invited to the recent training camp in Ottawa.
