Canada wins 3:0 over Japan at the 2008 Cyprus Women’s Cup in in Larnaka. Christine Sinclair scores all three goals in the victory. Rhian Wilkinson becomes the 15th player to make her 50th appearance for Canada.

Canada wins the 2011 Cyprus Women’s Cup with a 2:1 a.e.t. victory over Netherlands in the championship final. Emily Zurrer scores the winning goal in the 99th minute en route to Canada’s third Cyprus Cup title in four years. For the first time ever, Canada’s women’s national team has an all-time winning record with 110 wins, 34 draws and 109 losses.
