Canada’s national head coach Carolina Morace is heading to Vancouver this May for the 2009 BC Soccer Annual Soccer Conference. Morace will be the keynote speaker at the popular soccer conference.
“We are delighted to bring Ms. Morace in as our keynote speaker for this year’s BC Soccer Conference,” said BC Soccer Executive Director Bjorn Osieck. “Our event offers one of the best slates of presenters of any soccer conference in North America and we are pleased that Coach Morace will share her extensive knowledge, especially with a view to the female side of the game, with our attendees.”
Morace was named head coach to Canada’s national and U-20 women’s teams earlier this month at a press conference in Toronto. She recently held her first women’s camp in Los Angeles, CA and is now underway with a second camp in Rome, Italy. Morace makes her international debut for Canada this 5 March against New Zealand at the 2009 Cyprus Women’s Cup.
“I look forward to speaking at this year’s BC Soccer Annual Soccer Conference,” says head coach Carolina Morace. “This conference gives me the opportunity to connect with soccer coaches from the region. It gives me an opportunity to further grow the interest and passion for our sport.”
The 2009 BC Soccer Conference is a weekend long annual conference aimed at providing valuable educational and informative tools for coaches, referees, and soccer enthusiasts. It features an impressive array of coaching and referee guest speakers providing world class on and off-field educational sessions.
This year’s conference is held at Capilano University in North Vancouver. The conference runs 1-3 May.
