Canada Soccer’s 2026 Futsal Canadian Championship will be broadcast live in April on FIFA+, the global football streaming platform. This marks the second year in a row that FIFA+ will showcase the Futsal Canadian Championship including the men’s and women’s Canadian Finals to be played on Sunday 12 April.
This year’s competition will feature a record 10 provinces and territories represented across the men’s and women’s divisions. For the first time ever, the Futsal Canadian Championship will introduce Quarter-Finals and Semi-Finals in both divisions. The enhanced format ensures a full four-day competition with meaningful matches for all participating teams.
“The Futsal Canadian Championship brings together some of the best talent in our futsal community,” said Peter Augruso, President of Canada Soccer. “Partnering with FIFA+ ensures that these players and teams can be seen by fans around the world while reinforcing our commitment to growing and strengthening the game in Canada.”
Qualifiers to this year’s Futsal Canadian Championship are already underway with 232 men’s and women’s futsal teams competing in provincial and territorial qualifying league and cup competitions through to the end of March 2026.
At the elite club level, Canada Soccer supports domestic futsal through the annual Futsal Canadian Championship for men and women. The Men’s Futsal Canadian Championship was launched in 2015, with the Women’s Futsal Canadian Championship introduced in 2023, reflecting the continued growth of the sport nationwide. This past year, Canada qualified for the first edition of the FIFA Futsal Women’s World Cup™.
The 2026 Futsal Canadian Championship will be hosted by Calgary United Soccer Association in partnership with Tourism Calgary. A proven host city that features world-class facilities and friendly volunteers, the Blue Sky City will again be the destination for the best futsal clubs in Canada.
