Defending national champions CS Trident won their first women’s provincial championship after they captured the Coupe du Québec to qualify for Canada Soccer’s 2025 National Championships. The club from Ouest de Québec won the Saturday Final 2:0 in Laval over CS Union Lanaudière Sud.
Charline Massy and Anaïs Bujold Samson were the goalscorers in the second half on almost identical free-kick deliveries from the left side. Massy scored the winner on a header in the 63rd minute and then Bujold Samson scored the second goal on her header in the 77th minute.
CS Trident were runners up in last year’s Coupe du Québec before they won the league title to qualify for the National Championships. They beat Coquitlam Metro-Ford SC on penalties in the Canadian Final to capture the Jubilee Trophy.

In the 6 September Final, CS Trident’s starting lineup featured Alicia Richard (goal), Maude Boutin, Rosalie Morissette, Dania Viel, Roxanne Simard, Florence Delisle, Charline Massy, Jade Morissette, Anaïs Bujold Samson, Emy Desharnais, and Audrey Frenière. The squad also featured Charline Boutin, Mathilde Beaudry, Francoise Brousseau-Hardy, Alyson Desharnais, Rose-Eva Houle, and Marie-Joëlle Landry. The team is coached by Jérémy Sylvestre.
