Canadian player Bianca St-Georges has joined the North Carolina Courage in the National Women’s Soccer League. St-Georges joins fellow Canadian internationals Sydney Collins and Victoria Pickett in North Carolina as a free agent, signing a two-year deal until 2026.

“Bianca is a great addition to our club,” said Sean Nahas, North Carolina Head Coach. “From my very first conversation with her, I heard someone who has a great perspective, work ethic, growth mindset, and someone who truly wants to be pushed and challenged to be better every day. She’s a very dynamic player and someone who will provide good balance for our roster as someone who can be a threat for us in various ways.”

St-Georges, from St-Charles-Borommée, Québec, joins the Courage after a stellar season with the Chicago Red Stars, where she scored a career high of 4 goals and one assist in 19 matches, playing a total of 1,574 minutes. For Canada, St-Georges has 9 international “A” appearances and has won a silver medal with Canada at the 2022 Concacaf Women’s Championship in Mexico.

“I am beyond thrilled to join Courage Country,” said St-Georges. “North Carolina is undoubtedly a winning culture and, as a competitor, it’s exactly where I want to be. This team is savvy, professional, fierce, and has incredibly high standards. I believe our personalities match well and I could not think of a better place to grow and reach my potential. I cannot wait to meet everyone and embrace this new journey with a reputable and promising team.”
