Ottawa, Ontario Canadian Men’s World Cup Team Head Coach Holger Osieck today announced his roster for the upcoming international friendly against Germany on June 1 in Wolfsburg, Germany. The game will be televised on Rogers Sportsnet at 7:00 p.m. across the network.
Jason Jordan and Nikola (Niki) Budalic have earned their first call-up to the senior team for the game. Jordan has played for Canada at the Olympic and Youth team level. He was a member of the 1997 team which competed at the FIFA World Youth Championship. Jordan is in his sixth season with the Vancouver Whitecaps. Budalic plays with Orebro in the Swedish Premier league and is a former member of the Toronto Lynx.

Nick Dasovic returns to the World Cup team for the time since playing in the Bronze Medal game at the 2002 CONCACAF Gold Cup. Dasovic is in his second season with the Whitecaps and his first as a player/assistant coach.
Halifax native Ante Jazic will make his first appearance since a friendly against Guatemala on May 29, 1999. Jazic is finishing his third season with Rapid Vienna following a two-year sting with Hajduk Split.
The Montreal Impact are also represented by two players in Martin Nash and Nevio Pizzolitto. Pizzolitto is making his first appearance with the World Cup team since a friendly against Bermuda on January 11, 2000.
Defender Tony Menezes has returned to Brazil following a few games in the Chinese Premier League. He will return to Brazil following the Germany game and will then decide whether to return to China or play in Europe.
The goalkeepers are the same as the friendly against Estonia. Pat Onstad, who has played in all of the league leading San Jose Earthquakes games, returns along with Kenny Stamatopoulos.
