Canada’s full squad trained at BMO Field in Toronto on Wednesday morning.
Canada had a full squad of 21 players in camp on Wednesday 10 October 2012 at BMO Field in Toronto, now two days away from the Friday night FIFA World Cup Qualifiers match against Cuba. The team trained for just over an hour, wearing the new Bell Canada training kits that were unveiled before the session as part of a new premier partner announcement.
Canada has two big matches in the coming week, first a home match on Friday 12 October against Cuba and then an away match on Tuesday 16 October against Honduras. The two dates are the last in the CONCACAF 3rd Round of the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil Qualifiers. Canada, Honduras and Panama are in a three-way fight for the two Group C spots to next year’s CONCACAF Final Round of the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil Qualifiers.
“We all know what is coming up,” said Atiba Hutchinson. “We have two very, very important games. We need to take it one step at a time (so) this game at home at BMO Field will be huge for us.”
