Bob Benedetti

Robert S. Benedetti... sports family (lacrosse daughter Anne)... both of his parents were born in ITA... he was born in France while his parents were away studying, but the family soon returned to Italy; Bob was then 11 years old when his family moved from Italy to Galt, ON, CAN... grew up playing football in Italy... he participated in (gridiron) football, track and basketball at Galt Collegiate; then played (gridiron) football at the University of Waterloo... worked as an engineer...

represented Canada in Olympic Qualifiers in 1967, of note the first-ever Canadian team to feature in the competition... represented Canada at the Pan American Games in 1967... made two international appearances in 1967 with Canada Soccer's Men’s National Team…
