Graham Leggat... he moved to Canada in 1971 to join Toronto Metros... he was 81 years old when he passed away in Scarborough, ON... got his media debut with CBC as an analyst for soccer telecasts for the Montréal 1976 Olympic Football Tournament... served as host of the popular Soccer Saturday show on TSN... in February 1985, he served as emcee at the Sir Stanley Matthews Tribute Dinner in Toronto celebrating Matthews’ 70th birthday...
posthumously honoured by the Canada Soccer Hall of Fame (he was was shortlisted as an alternate builder in the inaugural year of 2000 and later honoured in 2001)...
