Dr. Asem earned his Honours Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Health Science from York University before completing his Doctor of Medicine at the University of Ottawa. He subsequently completed a Family Medicine Residency at the University of Western Ontario and a Sport Medicine Fellowship at the Fowler Kennedy Sport Medicine Clinic in London, Ontario.
Dr. Asem has extensive experience working with high-performance athletes and national sport organizations. He currently practices at the MSK Centre, where his clinical work focuses on the diagnosis, prevention and management of musculoskeletal injuries while helping individuals maintain active and healthy lifestyles.
Dr. Asem has served as a doctor in Canada Soccer’s men’s national team programs since 2012.
