wrote Jeff Cross in January 1964, Wilson is “one of the brightest prospects of the youth movement currently under way in the New Westminster organisation”... as noted in a 1964 all-star program, he “credits his father Les Sr and Dave Hamilton with much of his success”... wrote Jeff Cross in 1969, Wilson is “the biggest success of any player who has gone from here (Vancouver) to try his luck in the United Kingdom.
