represented Canada at five IFCPF World Cups and one Parapanamerican Games... career 39 international “A” appearances across 11 years from 2007 to 2017 with Canada Soccer's Para Soccer National Team... when he left international football, he ranked third in international “A” appearances (39) with Canada Soccer’s Para National Team...
as noted in his obituary, “soccer gave John a sense of accomplishments and joy. It helped shape him into the man we saw before us, strong, passionate, and courageous”...
