née Brittany Amanda Timko... speaks English and French... her mother Kara was born in Port of Spain, TRI while her father Brian was born in Vancouver... while Brittany was born in Vancouver, her family was in fact already living in neighbouring Coquitlam... married to husband Sean in August 2013... grew up competing in basketball, soccer, track and volleyball... she was five years old when she started playing soccer for Coquitlam City Panthers... growing up, favourites included Pelé, Blackburn Rovers... earned Bachelor’s of Psychology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2008... earned her Canada Soccer Coaching B Diploma in 2019... earned her BC Soccer Technical Director Diploma in 2018... was the first past Women's National Team player elected to the Canada Soccer Board of Directors in 2021...

after her playing career, she was celebrated by Canada Soccer on 9 November 2017 in the half-time presentation to former Olympic bronze medal winners at BC Place in Vancouver (on that day, Kelly Parker, Chelsea Stewart and Brittany Timko Baxter were honoured at the Canada match)...

won a silver medal with Canada at the FIFA U-19 Women’s World Championship Canada 2002… in all, represented Canada at two FIFA youth tournaments (U-19 at Canada 2002 and Thailand 2004)... won a Concacaf youth medal with Canada (2004 gold U-19)… graduated from youth football as Canada’s all-time second-best goalscorer with 16 youth international goals, at the time only training Christine Sinclair (since passed in the rankings)... as a youth player at Thailand 2004, was noted by the FIFA U-19 Women’s World Championship Technical Study Group as a “goalscorer, confident taking of defenders, good in the air”...
