Katie Marie Thorlakson... both parents were born in Vancouver, BC... speaks English and a bit of French... grew up playing soccer, hockey, ringette, baseball, basketball, lacrosse, volleyball, golf, swimming, snowboarding, skiing... enjoys playing guitar (learning c.2007), hanging out with family and friends, listening to live music, watching movies, cars, shopping, reading, cooking... favourites have included Ruud van Nistelrooy, Fabio Cannavaro, Ronaldinho, Wayne Rooney, Liverpool... other favourites have included Steve Nash, University of Notre Dame (all teams), Vancouver Canucks, Phoenix Suns... earned a degree in psychology at the University of Notre Dame... attended the FIFA Women’s World Cup Canada 2015 in Montréal...
represented Canada at the FIFA Women’s World Cup China 2007... won medals at two Pan American Games (silver at Santo Domingo 2003 and bronze at Rio 2007)... career 23 international “A” appearances across four years from 2004 to 2007 with Canada Soccer's Women's National Team… won a silver medal with Canada at the FIFA U-19 Women’s World Championship Canada 2002… won a Concacaf youth medal with Canada (2004 gold U-19)…
