Kelly Parker... her father was born in Antler, SK while her mother was born in Virden, MB... while Kelly and her twin Alison were born at a hospital in Regina, their family was in fact living in Maryfield, SK; they were five years old when the family moved from Maryfield to Saskatoon... grew up participating in track, running, soccer... she was nine years old when she first played soccer with Saskatoon United SC... favourites have included Andrés Iniesta, Xavi Hernández, Real Madrid... other favourites have included Calgary Flames... a tattoo on her left arm reads “Do you want the truth or something beautiful”...

honoured by the Saskatchewan Sports Hall of Fame and the University of Texas El Paso Hall of Fame... she was celebrated as part of the London 2012 Olympic soccer team honoured in the Canadian Olympic Hall of Fame’s Class of 2019 in Toronto on 23 October 2019 (she was one of 18 players that attended the event)...

won a bronze medal with Canada at the London 2012 Olympic Games... represented Canada at the FIFA Women’s World Cup Germany 2011... won a Concacaf silver medal with Canada (2012)… won a gold medal with Canada at the Pan American Games at Guadalajara 2011... career 40 international “A” appearances across 12 years from 2001 to 2012 with Canada Soccer's Women's National Team… after her playing career, she was celebrated by Canada Soccer on 9 November 2017 in the half-time presentation to former Olympic bronze medal winners at BC Place in Vancouver (on that day, Kelly Parker, Chelsea Stewart and Brittany Timko Baxter were honoured at the Canada match)...
