Jonathan Osorio... speaks English and Spanish... soccer family (brothers Anthony, Nicholas)... his father Diego was born in Cali, COL while his mother Bibiana was born in Medellín, COL... he was seven years old when his family moved from Toronto to neighbouring Brampton... he was four years old when he started playing soccer in the Toronto Futsal League; he was 12 years old when he joined Brampton YSC... he grew up playing soccer and baseball... enjoys music, sports... growing up, favourites included Cesc Fabregas, Diego Maradona, Read Madrid... other favourites included Michael Jordan, Los Angeles Lakers... on 20 December 2017, he was presented with a Key to the City of Brampton by Mayor Linda Jeffrey...

represented Canada at the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022... Concacaf champion (first place in 2021-22 Concacaf Final Round of FIFA World Cup Qualifiers)... won a Concacaf Silver Medal with Canada (2022-23 Nations League)... Concacaf semifinalist (2021)... represented Canada at one CONMEBOL Copa América (fourth place at USA 2024)...

part of the Canada Soccer team that met Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on 15 November 2021 ahead of their FIFA World Cup Qualifiers match one day later in Edmonton (a surprise visit by the Prime Minister at a training session)... took part in the FIFA World Cup 2026 Host Cities launch event in New York City on 16 June 2022 (players Hirving Lozano, Jonathan Osorio and Christian Pulisic took part in the event alongside FIFA President Gianni Infantino and other soccer dignitaries)...
