Alexander McCabe Hylan... he was 22 years old when he moved to Montréal, QC, CAN in 1951... he moved from Québec to British Columbia in 1973... he was 83 years old when he passed away on 13 October 2012 in Victoria, BC... worked for Canadian Vickers... as noted in his obituary in the Victoria Times Colonist, Alex “contributed to all levels of Canadian soccer with a positive impact at the community, national, international and professional levels”...
honoured as a Canada Soccer Life Member... posthumously honoured by the Canada Soccer Hall of Fame... posthumously honoured by the Soccer Hall of Fame of British Columbia...
