Canada reached the Quarter-Finals at the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup Azerbaijan 2012. For the first time, Canada went undefeated in the group phase, posting a draw against Nigeria and then back-to-back wins against Colombia and the hosts Azerbaijan. Canada were then eliminated by the eventual silver medal winners Korea DPR in the Quarter-Finals. This marked Canada’s third-consecutive participation at the biennial tournament.
