In 1956, Lokomotiv Moscow made a tour of Canada, accompanied by Dominion of Canada Football Association General Secretary George Anderson. After matches against all-star teams from Québec, Winnipeg, British Columbia and Western Canada, the Lokomotiv tour culminated with a match in Toronto against a team of Canadian All-Stars.
