Road to Rio Women’s International Series

Canada’s Road to Rio Women’s International Series featured matches in Ontario against Brazil, a 4 June friendly at BMO Field in Toronto and a 7 June friendly at TD Place in Ottawa. The matches served as Canada’s send off series before the Rio 2016 Women’s Olympic Football Tournament. In between the two matches, the Canadian team visited Parliament Hill where they met Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Honourable Carla Qualtrough.
