International Women’s Youth Football Tournament

Canada finished third at the four-nation 2016 International Women’s Youth Football Tournament in Weifang, China PR. Hosts China PR finished first (perfect with nine points), followed by Japan (six points), Canada (three points), and New Zealand (no points). Canada lost 1:3 to Japan on the 12 July, then won 3:0 over New Zealand on 14 July, and then lost 0:1 to China PR on 16 July.
