Potential senior opponents for Canada in 2008

With the results from today’s 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa Qualification draw, Canada’s men’s senior team now know their potential opponents for the 2008 season. “From our point of view, it is all about us and how we play,” says head coach Dale Mitchell. “You have to beat good teams to advance to the FIFA World Cup. We have to be ready in June.”

Canada to face St. Vincent & the Grenadines

All 35 countries in the Confederation of North, Central American and Carribean Association Football (CONCACAF) have been drawn into their respective groups for the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa Qualification.
