Vancouver Whitecaps FC pulled off a 1:1 draw against visiting Impact Montréal on Match Day Two of the 2010 Nutrilite Canadian Championship. Impact striker Peter Byers opened the scoring in the 31st minute before Vancouver’s Marcus Haber evened the score on a penalty in the 81st minute. The draw means both Vancouver and Montréal settle for a single point and remain behind Toronto FC in the three-team standings.

The Canadian Soccer Association announced today that Impact Montréal forward Roberto Brown will serve a two-game suspension in the 2010 Nutrilite Canadian Championship. The suspension and a $1,500 fine was imposed for his conduct in the 28 April 2010 match between the Impact and Toronto FC.
A correction has been made to the record of the first goal scored on Match Day One of the 2010 Nutrilite Canadian Championship. The Toronto FC goal, scored in the 12th minute of the 28 April match, was in fact scored by Ty Harden, not Dwayne De Rosario.
The Impact Montréal knows it may need eight or nine points to win the 2010 Nutrilite Canadian Championship. So to get on track, the Impact must win its upcoming Wednesday away match against Vancouver Whitecaps FC at Swangard Stadium. After an 0:2 loss to Toronto FC on Match Day One, the Impact will face Whitecaps FC on Match Day Two this Wednesday 5 May with a 19.30 local kickoff.
