Canada’s men’s national team has announced that Adrian Cann has been added to the roster for the upcoming Men’s International Match on 9 February. Cann was added to replace injured centre back Kevin McKenna who is unable to participate.
Canada has announced an 18-player roster for the upcoming Men’s International Friendly match in Larissa, Greece. Coach Hart and his team will meet this coming week to face former European champion Greece at the A.E.L FC Arena. The match will be played Wednesday 9 February, the first date of the 2011 season on the FIFA international schedule.
Canada gained three points on the FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking and moved up four spots on the overall ranking. While Canada remains unchanged in the eighth spot within the confederation, Canada has slipped up into 80th spot on the overall ranking released on 2 February.
The Canadian Soccer Association has announced that the upcoming Men’s International Friendly match featuring Canada and Greece will be broadcast live coast to coast on Rogers Sportsnet ONE as well as streamed live on sportsnet.ca. The Canadian match will be broadcast on Wednesday 9 February at 10.00 ET / 07.00 PT (17.00 local kick off in Larissa, Greece).
The fourth and final ticket sales phase for the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2011™ comes to a close on Sunday, 20 February, meaning there are less than three weeks left to secure tickets for all the top matches, including games involving hosts Germany and the final in Frankfurt on 17 July.

Christine Sinclair has been named Most Valuable Player of the 2011 Yongchuan Cup Four-Nation Women’s Tournament. Sinclair was selected the best player from the six-match, four-team tournament that ran 21-25 January in the Yongchuan District in Chongqing, China.
Canada rounded out the 2011 Yongchuan Cup Four-Nation Women’s Tournament with a 1:0 victory over Sweden. Canada won six points in three matches, but finished second in the competition behind first-place winner USA.
