It’s getting down to crunch time for Canada’s Women’s National Team as their FIFA Women’s World Cup Canada 2015™ is just a few months away.
In Head Coach Benito Floro’s first full year in charge of Canada’s Men’s National Team, results started to go the way of the red and white with the team taking some steps forward as 2015 and a return to competitive action approaches.
2014 was a year packed with action for Canada’s youth teams as the women’s program had their respective youth FIFA World Cups and the men’s program was preparing for a hectic year in 2015 where they’ll have their own qualifying tournaments and, hopefully, two youth FIFA World Cups to take part in.
It was a good year for Canada’s FIFA List referees.
The Besiktas playmaker and Portland Thorns FC captain were honoured in a vote shared by Canadian media (50%) and Canadian coaches and clubs (50%)

The team is coming down to their final few chances to prepare before they get back to competitive action with the 2015 CONCACAF Gold Cup.
