Page Sets Roster for U-15 Tour to Germany

Ottawa, Ontario – Canada's Women's under-15 Team Head Coach Lewis Page has announce his 18-player roster for a camp and three matches in Leipzig, Germany from August 25th to September 3rd, 2005.

While in Germany, Canada will play the Netherlands on Monday, August 29th then Scotland on Wednesday, August 31st, and in conclusion, Germany on Friday, September 2nd.

The roster includes players representing six provinces; Alberta (Idana Dececco), British Columbia (Paige Adams, Kelly Cook, Monica Lam-Feist, Sydney Leroux, Stephanie Panozzo, Hana Taiji), Nova Scotia (Rebecca Hazen), Ontario (Nicole Campbell, Rita Keimakh, Alexandra Marton, Concettina Romagnuolo), Quebec (Sansar Bahar, Melissa Busque, Emilie Fillion, Kathryn Muramatsu, Pascal Pinard), and Saskatchewan (Daniela Fuenzalida).

“This event for the U15 girls is a great opportunity,” said Page. “Never before has a group of player this young been able to play three quality internationals like this. The format mirrors a world cup tournament or qualifying so the experience gained by these players will be invaluable in their development. The team will be counting on the experience of Paige Adams, Sydney Leroux, Hanah Tiaji and Becky Hazen who were all part of last years U15 national team.”
