NTC-Prairies Host First National Scouting Weekend

Vaughan, Ontario – Canadian Men's Under-17 Head Coach Stephen Hart and National Goalkeeping Coach Kevin Muldoon will be scouting players at the Prairies Training Centre in Edmonton, Alberta, from Friday September 24 to Sunday September 26, 2004 at the Edmonton Soccer Complex (#14920, 142nd St.).

Sean Fleming, National Staff Coach & Director of the NTC-P will join Hart and Muldoon, along with NTC-P Staff Coaches Rattan Bahia (Saskatchewan), George Brady (Alberta), Bert Goldberger (Alberta), Percy Hoff (Saskatchewan), Peter Malakoane (Alberta), Stuart Neely (Manitoba), and Neil Turnbull (Alberta) who are all looking forward to the first time they will see the new additions to the NTC program. The players will gather from all three provinces to compete against one another and veterans of the program.

With upcoming international competition for our National Teams between November 2004 and May 2005, the National Scouting Weekends will become even more crucial for staff to monitor the progress of identified players. The players will be able to showcase their abilities interact with staff to for an overall picture of the National Team Program across the country.
