Toronto FC still needs to play out the championship finale on 2 June to win the Voyageurs Cup and officially clinch a spot in 2010-11 CONCACAF Champions League. Toronto FC faces Whitecaps FC at BMO Field in Toronto on Match Day Six.

“It is nice to be named champions and advance in this competition,” said Toronto FC head coach Preki. “We did what we needed to do in the first couple of games, so we took the pressure off ourselves.”

Toronto FC has seven points after three matches while Vancouver has just three points. Montréal, who played its fourth and final match on Wednesday, finished the championship in third place with two points.

The 2010 Nutrilite Canadian Championship runs 28 April to 2 June in Montréal, Toronto and Vancouver. All six games are broadcast on Rogers Sportsnet (television and online). The Wednesday 2 June finale kicks off at 20.00 ET / 17.00 PT. Following the match will be the presentation of the medals and championship trophy.
