Opponents

Against Honduras, Canada Soccer’s Men’s National Team holds an all-time record of 9 wins, 13 losses, and 7 draws. CANMNT came out on top in their most recent encounter, earning a 4-1 victory at BMO Field in March 2023.

Canada has fared strongly against El Salvador, with a record of 10 wins, 5 losses, and 4 draws. The two most recent meetings went decisively in CANMNT’s favour, with 3-0 and 2-0 victories in September 2021 and February 2022, respectively.

Canada also maintained a perfect record against Curaçao, winning all three previous matches. Their last meeting came during Concacaf Nations League play in March 2023, where CANMNT secured a 2-0 win. Notably, that match marked Canada’s first international appearance following the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

Quest for a Trophy

Canada Soccer’s Men’s National Team continues its impressive ascent on the international stage, achieving a historic milestone by reaching an all-time high of 30th in the FIFA world rankings as of April 2025. This achievement follows a third place finish in the 2025 Concacaf Nations League, where Canada secured a 2-1 victory over the United States, marking consecutive wins against the Americans for the first time since 1985.

Canada will aim to build on its recent momentum and continue asserting itself as a force in the region. Having previously won the competition in 2000, Canada’s sights will be set on a second Gold Cup victory this summer.

Additional details on Canada’s full match schedule, venues, and broadcast information will be announced in the coming weeks.
