Péladeau, Houmphanh named Most Valuable Players

Adam Péladeau of Atlético Gatineau and Jade Houmphanh of Saskatoon SK Impact FC were named the Most Valuable Players of the 2025 Futsal Canadian Championship in Regina, Saskatoon. Both stars led their respective clubs to their first national titles after going perfect with four-straight wins in four days at the REAL District in Regina.

Péladeau scored a tournament-record 15 goals in four games including a hat trick in the Final when Atlético Gatineau came from behind to win 3:2 over back-to-back champions 9 de Octubre Toronto. The 21-year old pivot scored five goals against FC Brazil Vancouver, four goals against Whitehorse Yukon Selects FC, and three goals against Winnipeg Pioneers FC in the group phase.

Houmphanh won her second MVP award after leading two different Saskatoon teams to national titles (Saskatoon Green & White in 2024, Saskatoon SK Impact FC in 2025). This year, she scored nine goals and three assists in four games including two go-ahead goals in extra time of the Canadian Final. The 23-year National Team player ultimately scored the winning kick in the shootout that helped SK Impact FC win 4-2 on penalties over Montréal’s Underdogs FC.
