Nutrilite Canadian Championship final to be broadcast LIVE on Sportsnet One

The rescheduled second leg of the 2011 Nutrilite Canadian Championship Final will be broadcast live on Rogers Sportsnet One. The 2 July final featuring Toronto FC and Vancouver Whitecaps FC will be broadcast at 12.30 ET / 09.30 PT. Live web streaming will also be available on sportsnet.ca.

The rescheduled second leg of the 2011 Nutrilite Canadian Championship Final will be broadcast live on Rogers Sportsnet One. The 2 July final featuring Toronto FC and Vancouver Whitecaps FC will be broadcast at 12.30 ET / 09.30 PT. Live web streaming will also be available on sportsnet.ca.



The first leg of the championship final was played on 18 May in Vancouver, a 1:1 draw at Empire Field. The second leg had commenced on 25 May, but was abandoned because of lightning and unplayable field conditions.



The second leg of the Championship will therefore be replayed in its entirety, according to the Championship rules, on 2 July at BMO Field in Toronto, with a 12.30 ET kick off.



Fans who had purchased tickets to the 25 May match should note that original tickets will be honoured for this new date of 2 July. For lost or discarded tickets, please contact Ticketmaster Customer Service with your original order number.



The winner of the two-leg championship final will win the Voyageurs Cup and qualify for 2011-12 CONCACAF Champions League. Canada’s representative will face Nicaraguan club Real EstelĂ­ FC in late July and early August in the preliminary round of CONCACAF Champions League.
