Lineup complete for 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa™

Thirty-two countries have booked their place for the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa™. The last of the teams qualified on Wednesday 18 November, thus completing the field for the world’s biggest football tournament. Next up is the Final Draw on 5 December 2009.



From North America (CONCACAF), the three qualified nations are USA, Mexico and Honduras. From South America, the five qualified nations are Brazil, Chile, Paraguay, Argentina and Uruguay. From Oceania, the one qualified nation is New Zealand.

From Asia, the four qualified nations are Australia, Japan, Korea Republic and Korea DPR. From Europe, the 13 qualified teams are Denmark, Switzerland, Slovakia, Germany, Spain, England, Serbia, Italy, Netherlands, Slovenia, Greece, France and Portugal.



From Africa, the six qualified nations are Ghana, Côte d’Ivoire, Nigeria, Cameroon, Algeria and host South Africa.



The 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa™ runs 11 June to 11 July 2010. There will be 64 matches in 10 venues located in nine host cities.
