Kapos Added To Senior Roster

Canadian Men’s World Cup Team head coach Frank Yallop has added 24-year-old defender Stathios Kapos to his roster for the training camp in Ft. Lauderdale and international friendly against Barbados.

Kapos plays with AEK Athens in the Greek First Division and plays right back. He holds dual Canadian and Greek citizenship and is expected to join the team today.

Yallop’s squad now numbers 16 players. Some members of the Olympic team are training at the same facility and Yallop will hold intra-squad games in the next few days with Olympic team head coach Bruce Twamley. The Olympic team is scheduled to play Mexican club side Necaxa on Thursday.
