Douglas To Officiate at World Championship

CONCACAF Referees will be officiating during the FIFA Women’s Under-19 World Championships in Thailand. Charlene Douglas of Alberta has been chosen as an Assistant Referee for the competition. Douglas recently participated in the CONCACAF U19 Final Round Qualifiers held in Ottawa and Montreal from May 28- June 6. This is the first year that Douglas has been listed on FIFA’s International list of Assistant Referees.

This is the first year that Douglas has been listed on FIFA’s International list of Assistant Referees.

Joining Douglas to represent CONCACAF in Thailand are Referees Maria Ortega (SLV), Virginia Tovar (MEX), Rita Muñoz (MEX), Reina Pacheco (SLV) and Paulette Riley (JAM).

The CONCACAF representatives will join the other 31 officials at the 2004 FIFA Women’s U-19 World Championship from November 10-27, which has Canada and USA as the CONCACAF representatives.
