Ottawa, Ontario The Canadian Soccer Association today announced that it has struck a Discipline Committee in accordance with its By-laws, Rules and Regulations to investigate the action of registered members involved in the recent Legends of Soccer events which took place in Toronto and Calgary January 22 and 23 respectively.
CSA President, Andy Sharpe has appointed Mr. John Diamond, Past President of the PEI Soccer Association, a former member of the CSA Board of Directors and a lawyer by profession, to act in this capacity.
As this Committee has now commenced its work, the CSA will offer no further comment until their work is completed.
