The FIFAe Nations Cup 2022 spans 27-30 July with the 24 top nations competing in the largest FIFAe event of the year.
Canada Soccer’s eNational Team players Goalmachine and Exraa are in Denmark ready to compete at the upcoming FIFAe Nations Cup 2022. The duo will look to build on Canada’s momentum from a strong qualifying performance from which they reached the FIFAe Nations Cup for the first time. The FIFAe Nations Cup 2022 spans 27-30 July with the 24 top nations competing in the largest FIFAe event of the year.
FIFAe Nations Cup is a 2v2 competition, and matches will be played on the PlayStation 5 edition of FIFA 22. Canada is in Group B alongside Portugal, Spain, Israel, Kazakhstan, and Korea Republic. The top 4 teams after group stage play will advance to the knockout rounds. All matches will be streamed live on twitch.tv/canadasoccer. In May, Canada Soccer’s eNational Team finished top of Group A and defeated Trinidad & Tobago in the knockout round to advance to the FIFAe Nations Playoffs in June. Canada finished second in the group stage and defeated Costa Rica in the knockout rounds to qualify for the FIFAe Nations Cup 2022 in Copenhagen, Denmark. Exraa, who was an integral part of the practice squad during the qualification process, joins team captain Goalmachine for the FIFAe Nations Cup while team member AJ is unavailable for the FIFAe Nations Cup in Denmark. Exraa represents Vancouver Whitecaps FC in eMLS while Goalmachine represents Toronto FC.
