Canada advances to CONCACAF Round 3 of the 2014 FIFA World Cup™Brazil Qualifiers

Canada has qualified for CONCACAF Round 3 of the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil™ Qualifiers. Canada will join Honduras, Cuba and Panama in a six-match series next year, with the top-two teams in that group to advance to the final round of continental qualifiers in 2014. CONCACAF Round 3 will run from 8 June to 16 October 2011.

Canada has qualified for CONCACAF Round 3 of the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil™ Qualifiers. Canada qualified on Friday 11 November 2011 with a 0:0 away draw in St. Kitts and Nevis. It marked the third match day in a row that a Canadian opponent was eliminated.

Through five match days in CONCACAF Round 2, Canada has accumulated 11 points on three wins and two draws. Also on Friday night, Puerto Rico won 4:0 over St. Lucia in the other group match.
