2019 Canada Soccer Futsal Canadian Championship dates and location announced

The 2019 Futsal Canadian Championship will be held 11-14 April 2019 at Queen’s University in Kingston, ON and feature eight teams from seven Provincial and Territorial Member Associations. The competition will feature 16 games over 4 days with the 2019 Futsal Canadian Championship final going Sunday 14 April at 12:30 p.m. ET. All games will be streamed live on CanadaSoccer.com.

2018 Futsal Canadian Championship winners, Ontario’s Toronto Idolo Futsal, will return to the competition joining the Ontario provincial champions (or second place team should Idolo win the 2019 Ontario Futsal Cup), as well as the provincial champions from Quebec, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and Alberta. In addition, territorial representatives from Nunavut and Yukon will return to Kingston for a second straight year.

Launched in 2015, the Futsal Canadian Championship is Canada’s top-level club futsal championship. Ontario are the defending Futsal Canadian Championship winners, Quebec was the 2017 champion, while Ontario were the inaugural 2015 and 2016 champions.
