James Fleming... soccer family (son Sean)... married to wife Kathleen (they had four children) and they moved to Canada in 1968... worked for the Government of Alberta (1968 to 2000).... presented with the FIFA Order of Merit in 2002... attended the Final Match at the FIFA Women’s World Cup Canada 2015 in Vancouver...
said Terry Quinn in 1997, “under (Fleming’s) leadership and particularly during the final two years of his (first) Presidency, Canada Soccer experienced its greatest change and the very best results achieved on the international field of play” (at the 1984 Olympic Games and 1985 CONCACAF Championship qualifying for the 1986 FIFA World Cup)...
