Constantinos Soupliotis... he was married to wife Toula (they had children Tony, Athena, Andreas)... he was 36 years old when he moved from Volos to Montréal in 1969... he was 84 years old when he passed away in Montréal on 29 January 2017... Québec Soccer named the Prix Dino-Soupliotis in his honour, awarded to the referee of excellence... as noted in his 2017 obituary, he “dedicated his life to the advancing art, science, fitness, and psychology of refereeing”...

was a FIFA referee... served on the FIFA List of Referees and Assistant Referees for five years (1976 to 1980)... was appointed a referee for FIFA World Cup Qualifiers... served as a referee in the North American Soccer League... served as a referee at the Pan American Games... served as a FIFA Referee Instructor (1994 to 2001)...
