 CANADIAN PLAYERS OF THE YEAR:

The Canadian Players of the Year award celebrates Canada's top-two footballers in recognition of their achievements with both the national teams and their respective clubs. The two winners are recognized as co-winners of the award. Since 2007, voting has been conducted by Canadian coaches and media. Click on the link to see the list of winners.


 CANADIAN YOUTH INTERNATIONAL PLAYERS OF THE YEAR:

The Canadian Youth International Player of the Year award celebrates Canada’s top two youth footballers in recognition of their achievements with Canada Soccer’s National Youth Teams, with an emphasis on their performance at age-category international competitions. Starting in 2018, voting is conducted by Canadian coaches. Click on the link to see the list of winners.

CANADA SOCCER PRESIDENT'S AWARD:

The Canada Soccer President’s Award provides recognition and appreciation to a person's outstanding and unique efforts for an extended period of time, resulting in the positive and constructive development at the national level across Canada. The award winner is selected solely at the discretion of Canada Soccer's President. See the list of winners

AUBREY SANFORD MERITORIOUS AWARD:

The Aubrey Sanford Meritorious Award recognises a person's outstanding service and overall contribution to soccer or to any one of or more of the game's aspects - refereeing, coaching, playing, or administration. The award is named after Aubrey Sanford, a former player and administrator, as well as the 24th President of Canada Soccer (then known as the Canadian Soccer Football Association). See the list of winners

CANADA SOCCER AWARD OF MERIT:

The Canada Soccer Award of Merit recognises the efforts of those persons who have made a significant contribution to the sport of soccer in Canada in the area of promotion, growth and development, for not less than a period of ten years. See the list of winners

RAY MORGAN MEMORIAL AWARD:

The Ray Morgan Memorial Award is “presented to the referee who has shown the greatest progress at the national and international levels.” The award is presented in accordance with the terms of reference set out in Ray Morgan’s Last Will and Testament. Mr. Morgan was a referee on the FIFA List of Referees and Assistant Referees for 13 years from 1955 to 1967. He was also the first Canadian to receive the FIFA Special Award to Referees in 1971. He passed away at age 55 on 12 June 1977 after a two-and-a-half-year battle with cancer. See the list of winners

INTERNATIONAL ACHIEVEMENT AWARD:

The Canada Soccer International Achievement Award celebrates Canadian referees who have been included on the FIFA List of Referees for five consecutive years. The official must have officiated in at least five international “A” matches or ten international “B” or international club team matches, or one or more of FIFA’s tournaments or any reasonable combination thereof during the five years that his/her name appeared on the FIFA List. The official must have been a worthy ambassador of his/her province/territory and Canada Soccer during the five years that his/her name appeared on the FIFA list. The official must also have completed outstanding work as an active referee or assistant referee within his/her provincial/territorial and/or national association and become a leader and an example of his/her fellow referees prior to, as well as during the five years that his/her name appeared on the FIFA List. See the list of winners
