Canada opens camp in Alliston
Canada’s men’s national team has opened camp in Alliston, ON under head coach Stephen Hart. Eleven players have arrived in town from their professional clubs in North America and Europe. The national team trains just north of Toronto throughout the week in advance of the Canada-Peru match this Saturday 4 September.

Coach Hart said it was good to see his players again in the national team setting. The team had a good session on Monday morning and looks forward to the additional players arriving from their professional clubs over the next 24 hours.

Canada will play Men’s International Friendly matches at home on both FIFA International Dates in September. Tickets to the Canada-Peru match from BMO Field in Toronto are available via Ticketmaster (416.872.5000 / Ticketmaster.ca) while tickets to the Canada-Honduras match from Stade Saputo in Montréal are available via Admission (514.790.1245 / ADMISSION.com).

The 4 September Canada-Peru match kicks off at 17.30 ET / 14.30 PT. Fans should keep in mind that the match at BMO Field takes place within the Exhibition Grounds during the annual Canadian National Exhibition. Fans should arrive with their ticket as the match ticket provides access to both the EX and the Men’s International Friendly match. Fans that pay an entrance fee at the CNE entrance and then pick up their match tickets at BMO Field will be reimbursed the CNE entrance fee.

As for television, both the 4 September Canada-Peru and 7 September Canada-Honduras match will be broadcast live on Rogers Sportsnet. The 4 September match kicks off at 17.30 ET / 14.30 PT while the 7 September match kicks off at 19.30 ET / 16.30 PT.
