28 August 1979 - Kenny Stamatopoulos (Markham, ON)
Kenny Stamatopoulos is now in his 11th season representing Canada at the international "A" level. A professional goalkeeper in Sweden, he has taken part in his first cycle of FIFA World Cup Qualifiers these past two seasons, helping Canada reach the CONCACAF 3rd Round so far. Having made his soccer debut at age 13 with the Markham Lightning, he made his international debut at age 22 with Canada on 14 November 2001.
29 August 1881 - Albert Henderson
Olympic champion Albert Henderson won a gold medal with Canada at the St. Louis 1904 Olympics. He played in one of two matches, scoring a goal in Galt FC's 4:0 win over St. Rose School on 17 November 1904.
