24 July 1921 - Dave Fryatt (Chilliwack, BC)
Dave Fryatt served as the 22nd president of the Canadian Soccer Association, serving from 1963-64 when the football governing body was known as the Canadian Football Soccer Association. Also a president of the British Columbia Soccer Association (1955-61 and 1975-86), he attended an amazing 43 Canadian Soccer Association Annual General Meetings from 1953 to 1996. He also served as a national teams' head of delegation on several occasions, including FIFA World Cup Qualifiers in 1957, the tour of the Soviet Union and United Kingdom in 1960, and the CONCACAF Men's Under-19 Championship in 1986 (a first-place finish for Canada). In 2000, he was part of the first class honoured by The Soccer Hall of Fame.
